Working in partnership with organisations likes Freemasons New Zealand is why the Malaghan Institute can deliver for New Zealanders today and in the future. Since 2018 we have been privileged to partner with Freemasons NZ around our CAR T-Cell research, and they have now contributed more than $1.2million to the program. It is an incredible achievement.
The Freemasons’ partnership has been foundational in keeping our CAR T research program running and producing world leading results. And we feel privileged to be included in so many parts of the Freemasons world, helping the members of this organisation to understand the difference they are making to the lives and wellbeing of people across New Zealand
“I would like to acknowledge and thank Freemasons New Zealand for enabling this life-giving CAR-T cell therapy to become a reality here in New Zealand," says Prof Graham Le Gros, Director of the Malaghan Institute. "In addition to the funding, the confidence and fearless can-do mentality their support has given our research teams have been an important part of getting this essential cancer therapy established here in New Zealand for all New Zealanders who need it.”
